Company Introduction:
The Chi Shing Garment Factory was founded by Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Leung in 1954 with only one mechanical sewing machine and one roll of woven fabric. In those days, Mr. Leung senior used to be the cutter while Mrs. Leung senior the machinist.
Our first product was the tailor-making of traditional Chinese? ? Chang Shan? ? undergarments for schoolteachers. Demand was so great that we started selling to the local shops the following year. From there, we expanded into making night gowns, briefs, camisole, teddies, etc. Our company ventured into making more complicated garments such as brassieres & control garments in the early seventies. At the peak of local production, our company employed over 150 staff and workers.
Our first overseas buyer was Berlei Hestia of UK and Australia in the early seventies.

Rising costs in Hong Kong saw some production move to Mainland China in the mid-eighties, and with further development and high quality control, our Mainland China operations completely took over all of our production by 1993.
Today, the Chi Shing Garment Factory continues the family-owned and run tradition, producing quality ladies underwear and swimwear from high fashion to control day-to-day wear in natural and synthetic material with the help of our energetic staff. Some of our staff (both office and production) have been with us for over 20 years.
